Good that you are also well versed in English. The reason is very simple. I type faster in English on the keyboard and hence the preference.
For the question about the banding, I quote the school as a 1A school, which I believe is generally recognized in the EK community. I haven't invented it myself, nor does it have any relationship with the screen caps I posted here previously (actually the purpose of posting them is to facilitate the parent who started this thread to have an idea about the school through the info shared at the school's briefing session held on last Saturday).
